Ups and downs in the last few days with a great victory v Ipswich and a crushing defeat v TWS. I fancy us to put things right at the KC on Saturday so long as Pearson goes with Fryatt and Mclean up front. My team: Gulacsi Rosy Hobbs Chester Dudgeon Koren Cairney (if fit/available) Mckenna Brady Fryatt Mclean UTT
Not my expected lineup but one that I would like to see attempted: ---------------Basso-------------- Rosenior----Chester------Dudgeon --------McKenna----Evans--------- ----------Koren----Cairney-------- Simpson------Fryatt--------Brady Subs: Gulacsi, Dawson, Evans, Pusic, McLean This would allow Rosie and Dudge to bomb forward, with Evans and McKenna to fall back if necessary. Also allows Koren to play in his preferred central role, and also means that we could play 3 up top. The best of both worlds, surely, if Evans and McKenna cover the lack of defence to good effect.
The team that I think will be put out: ---------------Gulacsi--------------- -Rosy-Hobbs-Chester-Dudgeon- --RoKo--Evans--Cairney--Brady-- --------McLean---Fryatt--------- Subs: Basso, Bradley, McKenna, Barmby, Adebola
Well, seeing as we have done absolutely sweet fanny adams with conventional methods I would throw all caution to the wind, dump the 4-4-2 and field the following: ---------------Basso-------------- Rosenior-Hobbs--Chester-Dudgeon Koren-------McKenna-------Brady Fryatt-------Adebola------McLean Pine: Gulasci-Bradley-Evans-Barmby-Simpson
Or maybe even: -------------Basso------------- -------------Hobbs------------- Rosenior----McKenna-----Dudgeon --------Koren---Cairney------- -Simpson--Adebola--Fryatt--Brady
----------------------Basso--------------------- Rosenior------- Chester------- Hobbs------- Dudgeon Simpson--------Koren---------Cairney---------Brady ----------------Fryatt---------Adebola--------------
A mixture of rumours.. he's either injured or his mother has just died, but it appears to be the latter.
Im sorry but thats the most unbalance teams i have seen. Rosy and Dudgeon to bomb forward with just Chester left at the back? Madness.
I was thinking more along the lines of; if Rosenior and Dudgeon are in position, then the formation is balanced as we have five in attack and five in defence. If Rosenior OR Dudgeon go forward at any one time, then Evans/McKenna (or both) could drop back to cover chester and the remaining full back. Although, yes, on second thoughts, it is madness
Oxley to come in. He always looked good at crosses in the pre match warm ups. Basso and Goulash have been completely ****e every time i've seen either of them this season.
