Another raid on Lester?

I wonder if messrs Pearson might be tempted by Martin Waghorn's current inactivity?

 

I've posted this once or twice....it would be a good move.

 

Several points there.

First of all I doubt Leicesteristan will sell when they are struggling to recruit a striker and only have Nugent to play up front.
Secondly, they will want about £3m for him.
Thirdly, do we want yet another Fryatt, Simpson, McLean clone?
Fourthly, he has hardly played for quite a while so he isn't likely to hit the ground running, form wise.
Fifthly, is he any good? His record suggests not.

 

What sort of striker is he? Target man?

 

Have him, hes crap. We will pay you to take him.

He will do well under Nigel but he is just awful for us now

Tell you what we will do you a deal. You can take Waghorn on a free or you can take both Waghorn and Vassell and we will give you a 1M to go with it

 

They wont want £3m for him -his stock has dramatically dropped as he has done eff all since Sousa signed him. Clearly he enjoyed playing for Nige, did he play alongside Fryatt then?

 

No. Waghorn came in his own when Fryatt broke his jaw. Waggy and Matty dont link up well together

 

Oh we will definitely sign him then!

 

Not going well at Leicester so far this season then?

 

All Leicester fans I know say Waghorn is practically a clone of Rooney, obviously just not as good. Reckon theres plenty of potential there but not sure he's the striker we need. Saying that though it would give us another option and dimension, I wouldn't mind him here, but I bet Leicester wouldn't let go for any less than £1m at the very lowest considering only 12 months ago they spent £3m (was it?) on him. But at the same time me and a few of my Leicester supporting mates reckon Mandaric only signed him straight up to piss off our Nige as he knew Waggy would probably be one of our main targets last summer.

 

It was an odd signing. He obviously impressed under Pearson so for Sousa to sign him was a little strange. Even odder was he then supposedly stuck him out on the wing most of the time.

sorry if i'm acting thck here. ok granted we need another striker - not entirely knowing the youth team at Hull, but isn't there a striker in there that we could promote to the 1st team squad.

 

its all going a bit pear shaped with the foxes. Sven dropping his big money players Mills and Danns. Losing 2 home games on the belt. So much for money buyubng success. How long before Sven quits ? oh dear, oh dear. Lol.

could we not take the risk- rather than forking out money for a player which could be hit or miss

 

I've been thinking about Waghorn and Dyer. Both would be decent signings for us.
