Tom on SW: Lemina deal really close. Should be closed out today. Loan offer made for goalkeeper. In discussions with three CB's to replace VVD. Only one will be signed. Another loan offer with option to buy made for an attacking player. Will be 4 signings before end of window apparently. Three expected to go out. VVD, Gazzaniga (although might change if we don't secure a loan) and one other.
A lot of that is so generic.... I'm very much NOT itk, and could have written all of that. Except the GK loan, which is new news, that'll be the interesting one for me
Like I said, I could be completely wrong but I remember something... would explain his continued absences... a slight surprise that it wasn't picked up on the medical in some way, but if that is the case, a real shame for the player. Or, he's tweaked his ankle and there's nothing arthritis based at all....
I wonder if it is something quite serious but "invisible". Something like Darren Fletcher had. I believe there was a long delay before anything was said about why he was always out for Manchester United Would be frustrating for him in any case. He really could have pushed Forster last season (and this ) I can't think of any half decent goalkeepers who would be available for loan unless there are any from clubs who are struggling with wages such as after relegation. But haven't the relegated clubs all sold a keeper ?
All fairly well known based on rumours. 3 CBs are likely to be Hoedt, Wimmer and Gibson if the rumour mill is to be believed. Patrick Roberts loan is probably the attacking player. VVD, Gazza plus one other to leave? I think a few of us would expect that to be Clasie to free up CM space. I read that we have had a former Bayern keeper in training for the last week or so.
Will be interesting to see how much of those alledged targets were planned before the Lying Dutchman went rogue.... otherwise, even tight as a ducks arse Uncle Les might look to spend a bit of the £60-£70 million.....
