These players and agents need to start putting clauses in so that there is a payday for the club and the player gets to move if he really wants to, would prevent a lot of ****.

 

VD says he wants to play in the CL and it's not about money, he should have stayed at Celtic, they are guaranteed a place every year, so that isn't it. We have often said that if those players had stayed with us, they could have got us in to the position to play in higher echelons. Those that have moved, to better their lot, have only boosted their wallets, most have won nothing.
The Contract is a bit of an enigma, why sign a long one if you have no intention of honouring it?

I really think it's agents that are causing the problem, they want new contracts so that they get their cut.

 

Is a way of looking at it but then nobody would sell any players within the League.

 

Any club that wants to get anywhere sells the players they deem that they have no longer use for or are nearing the end of their contract and not signing an extension.

 

Nail on the head this time, it was when VD changed agents that this all began and first thing this agent did is to try to persuade the bindippers to use illegal tactics to secure the move, that much they did, and even admitted it. No proof of wrong doing say the FA, and admission is not proof?

 

So once again it's agents and contracts that are the issue. If a player wants to move in the future clauses need to be inserted or they need to sign shorter contracts. This may mean that the selling club losses some money though.

Strange that VD didn't have one included in his, was that a slip up or is there an ulterior motive that isn't obvious?
