I went on the Sunderland board on here when their released list came out and I got the impression most would have preferred for him to be retained. Considering how harsh they are on their players normally, I think that's quite encouraging.
No complaints with Larsson. A player with 282 premier league appearances to his name, still at a serviceable age, signing for a championship team for little cost, and people are complaining? We may have a nice pool of centre mids to pick from, however of them all only Clucas and Meyler have ever proved they're up to it consistently. A very shrewd signing IMO. I don't think anyone will be complaining about him come May.
Wish the HDM would pack it in saying we're linked with a certain player, then in the next breath or there case paragraph inform us he's also linked with almost every other clubs in the championship.
City linked with Junior Kabananga... please log in to view this image Born in Kinshasa, Zaire, home of course to the Rumble in the Jungle and now known as the DR of Congo, he made his breakthrough as a teenager at MK Etancheite, impressing enough to get a deal at Anderlecht. Kabananga played just five times in three seasons at Anderlecht, with the majority of his time spent out on loan. In 2013 he made the switch to Cercle Brugge, scoring 13 times in 64 appearances and earning a move to Astana in 2015 were he averages a goal every other game. Regarded as a powerful forward with a real presence, the Congo international is reportedly attracting interest from three Championship teams with Nottingham Forest and Leeds United also taking a look at him. Now 28, it’s believed Kabananga would be available for around £1.5m.
The above is from the HDM, but it's taken from a Teamtalk article, which is headlined - 'Leeds lead Hull and Forest for Congo striker Kabananga'.
Apparently, there's a decent chance of us getting Lewis Baker on loan. He's a very talented lad but another central midfielder (albeit a creative one).
Or back up to Clucas (Stewart and Meyler are not players to ping passes around ) along with been further cover for the flanks
I haven't said it for a while in fear of coming across as really boring but....what's his shot stopping like? I'm here all week.
