    "It just really irks me how some Liverpool fans think they are utterly blameless."


    What irks me is their staggering arrogance and lack of empathy, like we should just give in to their demands because we are little old Southampton. We don't HAVE to sell to them if the player is a contracted Southampton player and they did get caught breaking the rules, we were right to make a stand against that.

    As mentioned previously can we just close this ****house of a thread dedicated to a complete ****end and focus on the new season new signings and something a bit more positive. All summer this crap has been going on and I for one don't ever want to hear of him again

    Yeah, it was the way Solid Air quoted Santsfan, when I replied it piucked up the wrong bit.

    Once again, I put the blame completely on the Mods. Actually, to go further, and mainly as I cant rememner any other names, it is Chilco's fault...

    Exactly! Apparently we horrible because we want to keep our most valuable and highly-skilled asset! The cheek of it! Against his will too!

    No word of a lie I genuinely saw one tweet earlier in the summer from a Liverpool fan that we were breaking basic human rights. Yes really.

    What he said was that he suddenly realised that he could get injured playing football...when he got injured playing football. The thought had never occurred to him before. The implication being that he didn't want to waste time at Saints if his career was short. And that was alright because he had informed some senior people at Saints ages ago that he intended to leave....despite being on a long contract. The idea that he wasn't allowed to just walk away has come as a terrible shock to the poor lamb.

    Do you know when we all say that we wouldn't wish a serious injury on a player............
