I missed it the first time around but just noticed that Van Dick says in "his" statement that he's been asking to go for the past six months.

So he didn't make it a whole year into his six year contract before changing his mind (which makes him look a bit of a twot).

No, it was just six months before he'd had enough. Which makes him look a complete codpiece. Oh dear.

I for one wont be pissed off if hes sold, I just simply couldnt give a flying **** about VVD in any way shape or form now.

To me, he is using a disaster to moan at other fans, knowing full well that wasnt implied.

 

Liverpool is full of people not taking the blame for anything. Here's a comment I made before after an occasion when the word "victim" was assumed to be toxic to Liverpool fans:

"As for the song, even if I'd heard "always the victim, never to blame" I'd always assumed it was a general anti-Scouse chant. It's a sentiment I heard regularly in the late 70s and early 80s when I was a schoolboy in Sheffield. My father would spout off in the corner of the living room about the belligerence of the Scousers and how they always blamed other people for their employment problems while they were always the first out on strike in car plants and docks. Give it up. You are not beyond criticism just because Hillsborough happened.
