I reckon this will be a collapse once amla goes. It's absolutely unplayable now. Alli scoring what he did was epic... but as put spin on and he went after it. I reckon despite what alli did you have to keep the seam going for a while yet.
no... wait for new ball to call that.. this ball is old and got wet and is just not doing much for next 30 overs or so. patience is key here. once amla goes it is all but over imo... its just a question of when the breakthrough comes.

Moeen with another 5 wickets. Guys is turning into a brilliant all rounder for England. Def up there with Root, Stokes and Cook as England's best players at the moment. If they can juat just find a decent opener and number 4 then very good team there.
And Barstow. England are well off in upper order. Let's face it, cook is a bit of a veteran.. then you've no number 2, no number 3/4 as I reckon dropping root to no 4 might generate more runs even.... if you got those then you would think about no 5.... Stokes Barstow alli as 6/7/8 is ideal. 3 main line test batsmen is a big big ask. Pushing Barstow to 5 is ok IF you have that 2 and 4 as you say as long as you can add another spinner.
