Sebastian Larsson? No thx. Past it. Gives 110%, but don't think he's good enough any more. Decent set pieces/passing at best. Whiny as fu** as well on the pitch, always used to annoy me Edit: I'd gladly be proved wrong tho
Free agent after being release by Sunderland I believe. Someone will probably be able confirm/deny that though.
True enough of course, but the reason he came on yesterday was to relieve another player who isn't fully fit either. It won't take many games for either of them.
Isn't it weird that of all the controversial topics covered on this forum, simply rating or not rating a player is the opinion that really gets people wound up.
Just a question. When we get say 10 million for a player, do the accountants look for a replacement including the cost of wages. So we end up getting 10 million for a player but replace them with, for example, a 7 million player with 3 million for wages?
When we get £10m for a player, we then look to replace him with a loan player with little or no first team experience, so it costs us about £300k.
geez Chazz. I'd bet you'd make a decent hard tackling, no bull$hit, WYSIWYG stopper who doesn't take prisoners and asks for no favours. A bit in the Ashbee mould.
He could. He's got the spirit, but I don't really see the use for him any more, perhaps a couple of years ago. We've already got plenty of central midfield options. He's too slow nowadays to play on the wing. He did play left back a couple of times in the national team when there was a crisis now when I think about it.... Would be fun if he could surprise me tho First ever Swedish City player?
Got a feeling there's some mileage in this, McGregor's in his last year of his contract we've all seen idiot jnr contract negotiating skills , Forest come along offer him a 2/3 year contract he might just think that looks decent.
I can't understand us being linked with him at all, he's ****e. Is that seriously the best keeper we could aim for? If Greegsy is leaving, then the newcomer would be the number 1.
