The thing with leicester and with many clubs is that they think that money will buy them sucess but in fact it rarely does,a sound financial plan is the best option in most cases,like Southampton for instance,since our late owner(R.I.P) took over we have changed so much on and off the pitch,thanks to our Executive Chairman,Nicola Cortese or Don Cortese(who is someone you don't want to mess around with) although we have the money(£3Bn) we aren't spending it like crazy because our club knows that that isn't the way to go about our business,instead we are slowly,bit by bit building a team that will play together as one and where the team ethos is right and the squad harmony is great aswell,team spirit is something you can't buy.AB20

Yeah, Fulham, Portsmouth, Wigan, QPR and Hull all failed to make the Prem didn't they? In fact, how many Championship clubs have actually heavily invest and failed to get promotion? The only one I can think of is Cardiff, and they have been very close too.

As for Southampton, I don't want to write off your chances or anything and I hope you're enjoying life at the top, but newly promoted clubs always start well in this league then tail off. Only rarely (ie Norwich) do they make the promise land.

 

Those clubs didn't invest heavily...

Is the biggest question? I would have thought there club was too big to even give little ol leicester the time of day...yet here they are - in confused :s

 

It's odd we have bus loads of Leeds fans here but no Hull fans, I thought it would've been the other way around actually.

I can't account for others but I hadn't been on your board until last night, where (unlike your moderator it seems) I thought my comments were perfectly reasonable opinions that Leicester fans had every opportunity to reasonably counter rather than resort to editing them just because you can.
