Whilst it would be funny, I think Coutinho going makes it (even more) massively likely VVD goes to Liverpool.

I can just see Liverpool throwing money at it. If they come along with a completely ridiculous £70m+ bid then I can't really see how or why we would say no given the circumstances

 

If/when VVD goes, he will end up at Chelsea IMO.

 

I think this aswell if Coutinho doesn't go to Barca (I don't think he will), whether it is this window or not is all down to how much he wants to try and force it. If Coutinho does end up going then Liverpool will really test our resolve and, again, it will most likely come down to VVD and how far he wants to push it

 

Got to admit, anything like £75m would be great business, especially since he hasn't even played a game after a serious ankle injury.
