Tbh klopp works them quite hard. Many games are 45mins at reasonable intensity then a whole othr team.
There's another reason I won't watch, too many changes. Just like watching England friendlies under Sven! We'd be better off playing two 1hr games imo (instead of two 45min halfs)
As a one off, maybe. But if you were a betting man would you put your money on it? It was a friendly. If friendlies meant something, England would be the greatest national football team ever to gave the earth!
If I was a betting man I would put money on us beating them. Lucky it was only 3, should have beaten them 4-0 Need a better challenge lol.
Ok ok.... hang on... 1. Bayern have been not as good under guerrilla and now again.. not performing under anchelotti. They are still dining at the top table but are not going to win cl and are sliding... a little. They can pick the bones of every German side and do but they have not got the competition domestically to push them on. 2. Off have lots of domestic competition and just about hold their own... even if none of the English clubs are at the top table in Europe. Do why not in a competitive game... cos arsenal get destroyed regularly? Cos we can't defend worth a damn? Ok.. so maybe but I refuse to believe we could not cause them more problems than arsenal and would not give them a right go. As long of course that it's not a final
Backing your team to win is one thing (and I've not said we couldn't repeat that) but putting money on us winning easily (aka three clear goals) isn't the same thing
Beat them yes. Dominate, batter and destroy them? Not so much. Not impossible but not likely. Especially with us playing a "weakened" side too
As long as Klopp is happy with his lot we have to trust him It's really hard when all the money is being thrown about but spending the money is no guarantee We are not psg, real, Chelsea, city and to a degree - Utd Klopp has developed kids before - if we can't buy absolute quality I wonder rather give the kids a chance & hope that we pull something out the hat than spend money on average players like we have done for past 20 years Let's see where he gets us
I trust Klopp. I like the 'if they guy we won't isn't available then we'll save the money' mentality.
To an extent. 2 transfer windows in a row we have been after a centre mid; Dahoud and Keita and we have ended with neither.
I agree, you don't want crap, but surely there are other targets? Next season say Keita goes elsewhere, then who do we target
I'm not saying I don't trust Klopp. We've thrown money around in the past and now seem to have players we don't need and can't get rid of so a change of direction is welcome. It just seems a risky strategy when we have players with injury problems before the season has even started!
