You sit down at your desk and open your computer, and you think to yourself, "Hm. I need to engage myself in something uplifting and that is not going to piss me off... I know! I will visit my favourite website, Not606!"

With a couple of clicks of your mouse, you arrive at the HOME page.

"Now, which forum shall I visit?" you ask yourself, your eyes furtively devouring the possibilities. "I'm a United fan, so I ought really to visit that page, over on the Premier League forum."

You click on the PREMIER LEAGUE page. For several tense seconds, you hover over the MANCHESTER UNITED button, but you are distracted. Beneath the list of teams you see the many topics pertaining to the General Board. You shudder. "No way am I going in to that cesspit!" you mutter, angrily. "The HIAGster writes there, and I simply cannot bare to witness his masterful wummery!"

And yet, you cannot help but to cast your eyes along the list of threads, and they hungrily note that a brand new thread has been posted - COMMUNITY SHIELD SPECIAL: ARSENAL V CHELSEA. With horror, you note that the thread has been posted by the HIAGster, and suddenly, incomprehensibly, you are thrown into an uncontrollable rage.

"How ****ing dare he start a new thread on such an important topic! How ****ing DARE he!"

So strong is your anger, that you are unaware of the fact that you have clicked on the post. The page opens up, and you are confronted with the OP. It contains factual information copied from the BBC Football website. This inflames you further.

"How ****ing dare he start a relevant thread and populate his OP with facts! How ****ing DARE he!"

Consumed with rage, and rattled to ****, your eyes feverishly hunt for the point-of-wum. "I ****ing well know it's here somewhere!" you scream, spilling your coffee. Your eyes see the second post, made by the HIAGster. Ignoring the light banter ingrained at the heart of the post, the words propel you into a violent paroxysm of purple rage!

"How ****ing dare he!" you scream, throwing the coffee cup at the wall. "How ****ing dare he start a thread and then have the ****ing cheek to litter it with his usual and only-to-be-expected banter! I'm going to read every ****ing word of this **** thread and I am going to let my ****ing feelings be felt!"

With all thoughts of visiting the UNITED page now forgotten, you proceed to linger on a thread that you never intended to visit. Or, at least, that is what you tell yourself. In the background, Mrs Lightning is busy clearing away the shards of china and wiping coffee from the walls.

"If that nasty HIAG upsets you so much, why don't you just..."

"**** off!" you scream at her. "Just **** right off! OKAY!"

She flinches, waits a few quiet seconds, before silently leaving the room, closing the door softly and sadly behind her.

 

Well put like that it does seem like an over reaction....
