For all the talk you hear from him about why he joined PSG substitute "I'm fed up with being Messi's bitch and want to be No.1" As for why did PSG want to sign him please read the owner saying "I want to prove I've got a lot of clout with the euros and have more balls than the other multi billionaires". I read somewhere the other day that it would cost approx. that amount of money to keep Great Ormand Street Hospital going for a year.
