We should be 2 or 3 down. We have misplaced a lot of passes in this half. It's really not helping because they just run at us each time we give them the ball back. Jerome's not had a touch.
We should be three up! Defensively awful but we're over complicating it up front is the real problem. Jerome' been decent. Ok he hasn't touched it loads but he's made space for wildschut, Maddison and watkins
Fulham have been far superior this half, in my opinion. They look so dangerous every time they come forward. I'd give Fulham an 8/10 and Norwich a 6/10. We have had a couple of clear chances, but never really look dangerous. If Watkins puts one of his away, and Maddison shoots a bit earlier. The game could turn.
Not worried, but they'll be getting an earful for their defence. They're very lucky that Maddison, Wildschut and Watkins have all taken three too many touches in their box, as well as fortunate that we've scuffed shots at least three times. Defensively, yes we have had big weaknesses (I would actually say it's the communication between France and Husband that looks like the problem. But if you look at the goal, it was simply unfortunate - easy to clear. Fulham have edged it (clearly) and we won't be happy, but to suggest they have been way way better is a bit unfair on our attacking play. As Dave says, patience. And Husband/France to sort it out.
New coaching staff practically a whole new team on the pitch but one thing never ever changes with NCFC, we concede corner after corner and it does my bloody head in !
I agree with all of that. Except for how much better Fulham have been. I think they have edged it by a fair bit. We have definitely taken too many touches around their area, and it's given their players a chance to block any clear chance.
