What if your bestie from school has just moved away though.. I know you wanted to live beside each other.
Can they legally do that though? I don't know the ins and outs of the transfer. The fact the Spanish fa got involved was dodgy.
If the contract is poorly written, yes. Although you have to ask how the f#ck are family members and agents earning so much out of football. The players I understand. All of that money is leaving football into the pockets of the very people who stir the pot to get lucrative moves for their players. If anything needs capping, it's that bloody gravy train....though I suspect someone at FIFA is getting rich from it too, so nothing will ever happen...
Agree. But this is barca, and about time they got ****er over like they have done to others, so no sympathy from me lol
Ask yourself this question as a Brazilian living in Liverpool.... "I could move to sunny Spain and earn a lot more money and be in with a massive chance of silverware each season, or stay at Liverpool in the rain and earn less money, with a slight hope of winning silverware each season" I know what I'd choose. It would be totally different if he was British or had a connection to the club other than a contract. But he doesn't so you can hardly blame him if he goes. It's **** I know, but that's the bottom line.
Can't argue with that. Even more reason for English clubs to start properly investing in home grown talent. They are used to the ****e weather lol.
I think more English players need to go abroad. For example, we can all probably agree that Alli will be Englands number 10 for the foreseeable future. Send him to one of the big boys abroad, get some culture in our game. But yeah Academies and youth projects need to get cracking.
