Never seen blackcurrant here ever. It's an almost unheard of flavouring here. Almost nothing is black currant flavoured. I don't think the average American even knows what a black currant is.

It's quite common here, although those lovely blackcurrant tarts I remember from my youth are no longer anywhere to be seen. In the US most purple fruit flavoured stuff is 'grape', they don't know there's such a fruit as blackcurrant. Maybe Ribena need to get onto it.
