In these crazy times, it is almost impossible for a club like ours to get a player we want at the "right" price. The price we would pay will almost be certain to be too high. But we HAVE to accept that or else we won't buy anyone or just buy dross no one is interested in. We can easily get Keita but at a high price - £70m+ and even VVD can got at £60m+. We just need to have the balls.
Aubameyang back on Klopp's radar 12:55: Liverpool could go back in for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if Philippe Coutinho leaves for Barcelona. Liverpool were interested in Aubameyang earlier this summer but were put off by Borussia Dortmund's £60m asking price. The Reds would prefer to keep Coutinho heading into the new season but Barcelona suddenly have £199m to spend after selling Neymar to PSG and need a replacement striker. The media claim that Barca sign Coutinho then Aubameyang will be the likely target for manager Jurgen Klopp.
If we had a striker though, Firmino could drop back into his more natural role. Not quite the creative force Coutinho is, but i could see such a formation .
no kid should be dressed like a middle aged man... thats what the outfit says... I am stinking rich cos my daddy is and i get dressed. i have no idea what a childhood is but i look down on you you miserable piece of football filth no high five me for the camera.
perhaps should have had more than 1 target in each of the positions we are looking for new players in esp if the first choices have signed long contacts at their present clubs.
I dunno.. for some clubs its been slow for some they've done a lot. I mean arsenal got a couple in didn't they? normally they are whining about not getting anyone both are clear first teamers City bought 5/6? for all bobby's poor mouthing cheslea have added 3 clear first team players in rudiger, morata and that bakayoko lad.. tis thier own fault if they have pissed costa off or sold matic. https://www.premierleague.com/news/397434 like if i were southampton i'd be the most worried cos everyone else had got thier business done
Well, we've been signing about 25 players fewer per season than normal ever since Rodgers left. We're no longer buying everything available in the bargain bin hoping something works out.
yep think it's just me think i have got to the stage that unless it involves us or is a big transfer. Though in financial terms i've either not noticed or forgotten some big transfers this window. love the Chelsea outgoings which in length reads more like class roll call at school .
