A few nasty and sly tackles from Atlecico which spoilt a reasonable game. Klopp's comment was really in answer to Atlecticos behaviour.

 

I know but my version makes for better copy.

 

Klopp runs his players into the ground. Last pre season Liverpool breezed past their opponents and started the season flying as he works them so hard in pre season training. But he breaks players over time, and last season Liverpools title challenge died after Christmas when the fixture congestion / injuries exposed the thin squad he had.

They've done nothing to bolster that squad in this window, and now face the added CL games to boot. I think we'll see an exact replica this season, only with the injuries / fatigue hitting earlier than the turn of the year.

 

Liverpool got Hoffenheffer in their CL group super qualifier.

 

Tough draw that.
Hoffenheim were excellent last season.

He's up there with Mourinho for me. Proper twat.

 

As a manager I think he is decent enough.
As a person, he is kinda like Mourinho in that when things are going his way, he is very jovial and funny, but when they don't, he can quickly become stroppy and nasty.

 

The difference between the two is that anything Mourinho does wrong is, rightly, criticised by the media.

Any time Klopp runs his mouth the media lap it up.

He's a proper lanky knobhead.

 

BT will use the sentence "it's one of those special European nights at Anfield" within the first 2 minutes of being on air, ****ing nailed on.

 

Astro is of course claiming that this was the draw that he wanted.
