I am very pleased to see the line that Wenger is taking with Sanchez which mirrors our line with VVD.

Liverpool should do the same with Coutinho.

The FA should then come down hard on all those clubs and agents involved in tapping up.

J-Rod wasn't. Morgan did a dickish thing, as all friends do from time to time, but we took him to the pub and talked it out. Sadio wasn't really a dick from memory, we just grew apart, as friends do sometimes, and I question if we were really great mates in the first place. Lallana showed his true colours when the chips were down, which as a friend felt very disappointing. Dejan was just a bit of a dick, but he was a mate of a mate really who hung around with us for a short time.

So no.

Wasn't J-Rod (well his family, but if he really cared he could've told them to shut up) constantly moaning on twitter about Puel? Also I don't count him the same as the others we really wanted to keep. I think it was a good decision for both for him to move on.

Morgan did a dickish thing, and would've most likely continued doing dickish things if he didn't get his way. We came to a compromise, which was probably more in his favour than ours.

Mane I agree I don't recall doing anything too bad, I recall Beefy saying he wanted out a year before but was talked into staying one more year, I may be remembering wrong about that though.

Basically the bottom line to me is that all footballers are dicks if they don't get their own way, and it is part of the "transfer game" for them to act this way to get their way as invariably it works. Us putting our foot down over VVD is fine in that we will get another year out of a fine player, but it isn't going to change much going forward. Just like if we bow to his wishes and sell him for a world record fee for a defender it is not going to make us look like a massive push over.
