And here's a match we're in tomorrow against the 'Man City' of the non-league world... I guess we'll be fielding the 'stiffs'...
Just been announced that England 'keeper Karen Bardsley is out of Euro 17 with a broken leg, sustained during the quarter final v France. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40787983
Billericay 0 R's 3 at half time, goals from Grego-Cox, Eze and Oteh. Billericay have pulled one back through Bricknell. Caulker in the side tonight...
England ladies go 1-0 down to Holland in the Euro semi. England really are very poor on the ball. The coach has got them fit and strong, but all they do is lump the ball forward aimlessly. The Dutch are much much better on the ball.
No offence to the ladies here but the level of refereeing in this tournament is woeful. A couple of times the England ladies have gone down slightly easy but the Dutch team are now just pushing England players over and getting away with it.
England were the better side after Holland scored and shold have had a penalty. Holland were best until they scored a good goal.
2-0 Holland. No more than they deserve, as they're by far the better side. England all kick and hope every time I've watched them. No passing game. No clever movement. France were better than them in the quarter too.
Time for this Coach Samson to move aside. The England players undoubtedly have some talent, but they're not being given the formation or tactics to show it. I've watched a lot of England's games and apart from when they outplayed Scotland they've just lumped it forward. The Dutch look a decent side. Hope they win it now England are out.
After the France game I likened the England team to the under 12 team I used to coach. They were happy to just get a foot to the ball, and in possession hoof it forward and hope for the best.
