    I don't remember that. I do remember when Everton tried to master Bate on live TV but couldn't master Bate on one leg.

    I think Levy is happy to make the Group stage gravy train and the manager know's going deep in the Europa ****s up your chances of top4 (pool and utd last 2 years) and they don't have a deep squad so he is happy to chuck it.

    Interestingly, with the PL teams not making much of impact in the CL in the last 5 years, with the old seeding system, none of our sides would of been in Pot1 this time. Utd's Europa win saved them from Pot3 as well.

    Yeah but long term it comes home to roost. Last year spurs were pathetic incl and this year thry are 3rd seeds so need luck in the draw.

    Bayern and Barca is a possible cl group I believe.

    I mean I know we're were trash and not in Europe twice in last 5 so have only ourselves to blame if that's our group.

    What's spurs excuse :)

    Ther'e **** in Europe (still won more official UEFA trophies than Arsenal though LOL) and have worked out that by avoiding a couple of KO games whilst Arsenal get pumped by the Euro elite, means they can finally finish above them :)

    I think it's a great deal for them but buy back these days is nothing 50mil.

    Him and vardy will mean Leicester can sit deep and go longnlike thry want to.... I think that on its own put Leicester easily safe and looking at 10th min.

    Yeah arsenal are hilarious in Europe.

    The thing about Tottenham is they are ranked 22 and yet Monaco are ranked 21st having not been in Europe twice in last year's. They've done well in Europe when they were in.

    This is why every point and win in groups is important. Europa group is piss easy and your b side should win all games. If not you are doing it wrong.

    Lfc issue is Rogers delivered no Europe then a pathetic cl performance and then went out ala spurs in europa...

    Admittedly I was raging with klopp going all or nothing given West ham then managed to dump europa in qualifiers.

    Lfc need 3 strong years in Europe before we can get a good seeding.... OR just win the league like Leicester did <laugh>

    Poor spurs don't seem to think of that do they? Especially given their activity this summer :bandit:
