Can you trust the reporting of France 24. There are masses of problems at Calais, open your eyes.

I'm seriously wondering what papers or media source these guys follow from some of the comments being made!

Maybe the French and German media are more Looney than the British media....oh well negative news sells and ain't that the truth.

Dear oh dear SH. You are so desperate to make a point that you call on reports that are totally out of date. For your information these people were rounded up and taken to temporary accommodation. Disused hotels were taken over for a period, and their rights to be in the country were assessed. Many have been found to be illegal, and are already deported. If the UK were as efficient as the French are under the new President, you would not be making out that the Home Office under this government knows what it is doing. I suggest that if you wish to comment on France all the time, you keep up.

It is a widely known fact that the subject of EU immigration was a major theme in getting Brexiters to the polls, despite the fact that the numbers involved are relatively small compared to in other EU. countries. It is also a fact that the numbers of violent assaults on immigrants has risen dramatically since the referendum - all of this does nothing to enhance Britain's image abroad.

Your information is clearly out of date, news from yesterday - officials squabbling over supplying water for the hundreds of migrants.

    keep up.

The reason I asked brb about his comments on crime in seaside towns is of interest to me. I mentioned on here a month ago that police numbers show that the county with the highest number of hate crimes is Dorset. I have a friend there that I often stay with when I am in the country, and he was horrified to find out. On reflection he thought it had to be in Bournemouth and Poole, which he described as pretty wild places. He didn't think that there were very many immigrants there, but suggested there were plenty of yobs getting fired up in the pubs. Maybe his and brb's views are similar.

Mail first, now the Express. Beano tomorrow SH. You should be rather more discerning about your choice of reading.

I think that a contributory factor in some coastal towns has been the council relocation of many so called 'problem families' from London Boroughs in order to ease the housing problems there.

The current Home Secretary almost lost her seat when she made some very poor remarks about yobs who preferred to claim their benefits by the seaside.

Firstly France24 discounted your fanciful rosy picture then up to date information buried it completely, wherever you get your dodgy information it smacks more of Disney than reality. :emoticon-0136-giggl

One of the big problems has been the lucrative business of supplying accommodation in so called 'safe' houses for older ex foster children. The spivs choose rundown seaside locations due to the ample supply of cheap large houses. There is in fact very little control and guidance from the management of these establishments. The kids in fact are almost feral.

Please stop being so gulliable SH. The story in the Express is a rehashed version of what happened before the immigrants were removed a month ago. It is not current news at all. I gave you the facts on what has happened. Not much news for that rag of a paper.

More wishful thinking on your behalf. News from the New Europe 1st August 2017 about the hundreds of migrants sleeping rough in Calais. You seem to be the only one that does not know the truth.

France ordered to supply water, toilets to Calais migrants

Please tell me this is a rag owned by Murdoch spreading untruths or a Trump manifestation. Do you mimic the three monkeys when faced with unpalatable information?

You seem to have diversed from the reasons behind my original comment to OFH....who asked why I felt our seaside resorts declined...

I blamed scrounging Brits....then went on to say that the migrants occupied housing in two port towns, at no point did I claim they were on benefits.

I given my reason endless times for voting Brexit again in my original responses at no point did I suggest it was because of immigration.

My comments regarding theft...murder and rape we're said in jest....why....because I knew a remainer would instantly jump on it. However, there are some vigilante movements appearing, that is merely an observation not anything to do with my own Brexit reasoning.

PS. I also hasten to add that the vigilante groups may for all we know contain remainer voters.
