Clark played in midfield for Cambridge and played in midfield for the U21's for us before he went there, he's not played at left back for a long while (ahead of this pre-season).
Ian nacho has signed for leicester where does musa now go as he as argubally vardy, ian nacho, slimani and ulluo all in front of him
Going off the Cambridge utd sites/BBC he played left back and left midfield. Never seen him play myself so can't say, but given we haven't played him there in pre-season there must be a reason behind him suddenly training at LB
They signed him as a central midfielder and played him as a central midfielder... https://www.cambridge-united.co.uk/news/2016/march/-us-secure-loan-for-hull-citys-max-clark/ I doubt we'll see him play at left back, in fact, I doubt we'll see him play anywhere, at least not in the league.
I posted that after watching him in the open day, thought he did very well, my nephew played against him as lads, max was a C/B and my nephew was a striker, he said after seeing him on Tuesday that he had improved unrecognisable.. he said he was a no nonsense type C/B. And put it about a bit... i watched him and thought he looked very good, no one got any change down his side..
For Cambridge played: 18 as defensive midfielder 6 left back 5 left wing 3 centre mid So obviously defensively minded and able to play on left side. Though think you are right about not seeing much of him thus season, not had much of a run out pre-season, and we must be looking at a proper left back or two
From thee open day, did it look like he was been drilled for the Villa game or just filling a spot? Would be good to see a local lad come good. As an aside, Tymon has picked up an injury at Stoke
he never moved from left back, all session, when they had a reduced pitch game it looked like he was on the first team side, Back 4 of max, hector, Dawson and aina( Chelsea lad)... they looked very comfortable
It's either max or Lenihan I reckon with Aina doing the other side. Has Lenihan impressed enough at rb.
