OK, first and only rumour I've seen of this so far, found on Newsnow http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...8/manchester-city-outcast-shock-target-leeds? Anybody heard this elsewhere? What are the chances and what are your general thoughts?
I was about to post this. It seems incredibly unlikely but didn't Man City pay most of Bellamy's wages?
He has been a target for leicester for a while so why wouldn't we be able to go in for him, we're both in the same position. Saying thi though, i highly doubt we will get him. In fact i would go as fa to say no chance. Why are we still being linked with strikers anyway, if we sign forssell which i would love then we will definitely be spoilt for choice upfront especially when becchio gets back
It doesn't actually say we're interested, just that his dad thinks we're a big club, with a big stadium for our level.
Using us as a tool to attract attention from other clubs, as usual. Agents do it all the time, hence the insane number of players who always get linked with us.
Not a snowballs chance of this happening far too high of wages & we have cover in that area now anyways would rather see Forrsell on a year long deal tbh & Becchio back fit
I wouldnt want him. He's finished, no hunger left, he's made his money, injury prone and would get kicked to bits. No thank you
Really!? He clearly has hunger left if he's willing to drop down a league to get games. Imagine a strike force of Becchio, McCormack, Keogh and Santa Cruz, and that would only be while Somma's out! I'll keep an eye on it but I'm not particularly hopeful.
Simon He might jsut want to play first team football, dosnt mean he's still hungry. Having a player on that amount of money compared to the rest of the squad, would be a disaster waiting to happen, Difference between him and smith is at aleast smith would chase every ball. Nah not for me
Simon Just because he wants to play first team football does he mean he's still hungry. Look at mccartney last season, just going through the motions
I dont think santa cruz would be kicked to bits, hes big strong player. A side note, McCartney is at West Ham now isnt he? definitely one to target on the weekend
did he play on Sat? Good point if he did. I read that West Ham were hanging on a bit in the second half, maybe we are giving them too much respect.
