    Hmmm, I know he's fallen down the pecking order but I hope this means another centre back is on his way in (and quickly). We feel a little short in that position to me.

    Oh I don't know Captain, our Marcelo (as he prefers on his shirt) is 6'4".

    Unfortunately that all he is - big! And you're right we are still struggling for experience and leadership at CB. The story that's been around social media for a week or so is that we needed to offload before being able to bring someone in. This may be the moment. Doubt if it'll be Cookie's Hanley though; Aden Flint of Bristol City seems a favourite.

    Bit of a problem that Sigurdsson is only a loan though. No surprise that he's gone but had hoped we'd actually sell him - presumably nobody was prepared to offer anything like the £5m we paid.
