Well all the evidence is telling us this. He would have to be inept to say anything different eh. Where are the good news stories about Brexit?
A financial scandal is never far away from French politics, it did not very Macron long!!! Macron loses four ministers in a week - Financial Times
As the election is over and Labour lost again it is immaterial. There may not be another election for five years.
I don't see how my comment on the tories is strange, I think people dipping into their pockets of their own free will is a better gauge of "popularity" than voting figures. And I know of several LP members who voted for a different party so, again I am not suggesting that party membership guarantees a vote for that party. I always vote for what I consider to be the best interests of the country and not necessarily myself - as evidenced in my long post. I do not consider the tories to have ever acted in anything other than self interest during my lifetime. The figures you gave I did not dispute; the figures I gave are also official and I referenced them so you could check them for yourself.
France retained its position as the world's favourite tourism destination in 2016, the UN's World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) found. Britain, meanwhile, fell from third to seventh place. With the lower pound you might have thought things would have gone the other way.
I think you should be worrying about Macron because he is the big hope in arresting the slide in France's fortunes. France's debt is currently exceeding the EU guidelines and the Germans are losing patience with France in not addressing the necessary reforms. My only concern is how much involvement will leader Merkel allow the boy to be involved in during Brexit negotiations.
In your position I would be slightly more worried about the UKs debt as that will have more effect on you. It also might help if the government within itself could come to an agreement about what it hopes to negotiate.
The UK were 9th in 2015. Perhaps France should remember its reliance on UK tourists during the Brexit negotiations, a lot of damage can be done to France's image.
I too am old enough to remember the witch, how she and her party nearly ruined my immediate family in the late 70's and early 80's let alone her taking my milk away!!. But they are self serving to this day. The brexit vote was all about saving the tory party whatever spin you put on it. The billionaire non-dom newspaper owners saw to it that their self serving propaganda and jingoistic nonsense held sway. They served themselves. Maybitch, when HS, did not implement the powers at her disposal to curb immigration (particularly muslim immigration which is the main fear played on) and I said on these boards a long time ago that I think she lied to us all the way through about Europe as evidenced now by her stubborn insistence on pushing on through with what will probably be a hard brexit. They are utterly clueless about what they are doing and now they're at the mercy of the religious bigots in the dup! There is more to brexit than meets the eye, just check out Euratom Treaty for a start and what an unholy mess that is going to be... and down right dangerous too. Regardless of the shortcomings of the EU (and there are many) they pale into insignificance compared to the holy sh*tstorm of a mess we're going to find ourselves in as voted for - yes, voted FOR - by less than half of the population and having disqualified many who should have had the right to vote. As my late Dad said about them in 1979: undemocratic, uncaring, unchristian. Still holds today.
France's debts are much higher than the UK's with no agreement in place to reduce the deficit. Given France's woeful history of failed reforms you cannot be very confident the boy can deliver.
Voter from Hemel reveals the depth of thought that went into his/her vote. *full holiday access* - enough to make you weep...
It took me two hours to get through UK border control on my last visit. Two desks open to deal with 250 cars, and more people. They say that staff are stretched, but it is quite ridiculous. It will become worse once the UK leaves the EU.
