There's the other rumour, if you like, the bookies have odds of 4/1 on Wood moving to Boro. I said 4/1 on when replying to Billy's comments but I read it wrong, it's just 4/1.....

I just don't see the logic or sense in wanting or wishing Wood be moved on, even for £20m at this stage of the season... Preseason plans, purchases, formations will have been all prepared around Wood being the main man up front. To lose him now would be a disaster, we just couldn't replace him in time. Firstly nobody is going to be willing to sell you better. No rival Championship team are going to say here you go, foreign players are a gamble and struggle, not to mention what signal does it send out to the rest of the team about our ambition. He scored 30 goals last season, He was shortlisted for Championship Player of the Season and named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season and selected for the PFA Championship Team of the year... What must he do better to be accepted.. I just don't get it..

He has to do it again this season Ristac, or go close, one season of 30 goals doesn't make him a superstar, he needs to be consistent. I doubt that TC is going to adopt the same setup as Monk just to accommodate Wood, the signings don't suggest it. I can't see the likes of Samu, Alioski and Klich spending most of their time looking for Wood, Samu and Alioski are also goal scorers, and Klich can pop a few in too, our attacking force has been strengthened. And I never said anything about wanting or wishing Wood to move on. I put up a link for an article, others do that too, in fact their are quite a few articles referencing Wood with Besiktas. Shall I stop putting any article up so some won't be able to jump to conclusions? Did anyone know that there is new 2 match ban for diving being applied retrospectively this season ? Ban only applies if; 1) The dive results in a penalty or a player being sent off. 2) That an independent 3 person panel is unanimous in it's decision to apply the ban. The 3 person panel is to consist of an ex player, an ex manager and an ex referee. All panel members to review the incident independently and without knowledge of the other panel members decision. First I have heard of this but sounds like a small step forward.
