Be that as it may, I think there is merit in the argument that he is seeking to play for a side in which his skills will be brought to the fore. I cannot help thinking that this is the reason why the likes of Alli and Kane are at Spurs. Sure, either player could go to a "galatico" side, such as Barca or Real, but then they'd be little more than yet another superb player among 20 or so superb players. Much better to remain at Spurs, where they can both be Billy Big Bollocks type players, and eventually move on to become legends. What's Bale done, for example, since he moved away? Agreed, Bruv. That is the one big blot on Neymar's copy-book. He would have slotted in quite nicely into our squad, and would have been a useful option for Poch for those occasions when we needed something a bit more creative.
