Hmm. I think you need to have a quick look at battery farming. The fact that it isn't illegal yet is shocking, to be fair.
I didn't make anything up. I'm basing it on what I've seen. If you've been a beef farmer then great. It doesn't detract from some of the awful things that happens on other farms.
Your entire critique of the farming industry in based on a brief childhood stint in an abattoir. Ridiculous. And yeah, some nasty **** will go down on the odd farm, but that's because some people are ****s. Same in all walks of life.
Woah, hang on. I'm not critiquing farming as a whole. You're obviously desensitised to it. When male chicks are born on egg farms, can you tell me what's done with them? And I'm not talking about your average, run of the mill Wold Top farm in South Cave.
Nasty **** ultimately goes on at all farms. A hell of a lot of animals get killed ( yes not technically ON the farm). I remember once in Go Outdoors trying to find some decent walking boots that weren't leather. The salesman tried to direct me to some really expensive leather ones because the animals were really well treated to get the best leather. They even travelled with them to the slaughterhouse so they didn't get stressed. He said "no harm came to them", I said "until they were killed".
Some are pinned to the ground over bamboo shoots, some are placed on a rack where their backs are broken and stretched, others have to endure endless repeats of Mrs Brown's Boys.
Some opt to jump into the shredder to avoid Mrs Brown's Boys. As you can tell, I have ceased to take this conversation seriously and as such, will leave you to your cow punching delusions.
