    Morning lads...couldn't watch the game yesterday and doubt that I'll be able to see the next either!

    Have read a lot of the press which all looked decent, albeit a pre season game....Bit couldn't get a proper feel for how we set up in midfield.

    Did both Can and Hendo sit deeper? Looked like Couthino had a free role from deeper?

    Both Hendo and Can started as deeper players but both seem to have licence to go forward if there's a chance. In general though Hendo started put.
    It was more a 4-2-1-3 in the first half.

    Yes it was 433 but with double pivot, can and Henderson sat more in respect of a top top opponent.

    Coutinho has slightly more freedom but he was quite deep defending too so not a 4231 imo.

    I just want to point out that sturridge commented after game.

    He said it was just some tightness. We trained the morning of the game!!!!! Like we destroyed Bayern after having another session in the morning and have been doing triple sessions.
