Worth remembering that Bayern are a week behind pre season as they don't kick off until week after us but even so. We look very energetic. I'm loving that Salah the winger has now scored 4 goals and 3 of them have come from about 4 yards out. He loves getting into the box when wide player has the ball kn the other side.
Moreno arriving late twice, holding his runs and moving at the right time. We have been screaming for him to hold those runs forever and now he starts doing it.
Taa has a lot to learn too. Its not like mr lovren has done much wrong here. I think henderson is a bit out of good position and taa is rrally getting done
Well said Ince about Moreno, but dunno how he can be 'taught' about defence when he's had three years and two managers.
Moreno is actually playing well. I often hear people say he is good going forward but in fact he just spends a lot of time going forward but not really doing anything but tonight and tbf against Hertha he has actually looked dangerous. He even remembered to defend when necessary.
They spanked chelsea last week though. I think its more klopp style preseason than anything. The issue is theres nothing to cover these two come december
TAA needs someone in front of him. The second leg of the LC semi against Soton was like this - he nominally had Firmino in front of him, but Geronimo was anywhere but there.
According to Paul Ince, Moreno is excellent we only need to teach him how to defend. WE keep him? What do you think?
