It's not that. I'm as frustrated as everyone else, I just expected it and i'm happy to be patient as long as we bring in the right players, i.e. high quality players, not just any old crap.

I think Frazier's as good as any striker at this level and it was quite a coup for us to get him.
Aina is a very good full back
Stewart looks like a cracking signing, and he's great value for money in this market at £4m initially.
Hector had a decent year last year in the Bundesliga and will be huge for us.

But if we don't have the right players in by September 1st, I'll be as pissed as everyone.

Oh I thought we were being sarcastic. Because clearly he's well suited to the Championship.

Musa is starting for Leicester in their pre season game against Burton. So is Jak. Might give it a watch.

Whys that? is it for naming one or two who have told the rest of us to calm down there's plenty of time, slutsky is like a brother to Abramovic and for sure we are getting 4 top quality loans from Chelsea, he has good contacts and all the rest? By the way the season starts on saturday, 9 first teamers and 6 loans have gone and incoming players are just 5.
Oh and just to make you even more upset I will add Happy and Panty to your group.

Less of the son, I think i'm old enough to be your grandad.

    Then act your age.

The only people I told to calm down were those annoyed in mid-June when we weren't signing people. People are free to feel how they want, you seem to have mistaken my relaxed nature for something else. 9 first teamers have gone, is that a shock? Did you not expect Maguire, Robertson, Huddlestone et al to leave? Did you think with relegation the loan players would stick around? Why has that come as such a shock to some people? We've signed 5 players and have a decent squad to start the season off with. I don't honestly know what people were expecting, I'm happy for the likes of Bowen, Lenihan and Mannion to be part of the first team, they're good enough and if they weren't we'd be moaning they were being loaned out and then released. I consider them first team players now. As Slutsky said, we have a mix of youth and experience. We need a bit more depth, but the first team that starts against Villa will be decent, it's only because it's not brand new that I think is skewing some people's viewpoint.

Max never moved from the left back position. Aina looked good on the right...
hector was next to daws, mazuch was on the other team, I thought hector completely stood out, stewart worked from cone to cone, sprints...

He would just be wasted at the back as well.

Injury update: Johnstone, Jedinak, Kodjia, Adomah, Grealish

Sam Johnstone is expected to be fit to face Hull City this weekend.

Johnstone sat out the Watford game after picking up a muscle injury in training that week.

But Steve Bruce confirmed today that Johnstone should be available against the Tigers.

Albert Adomah faces a race against time to make this weekend.

The winger has recovered from his shin injury but is still a bit short of match fitness.

Mile Jedinak and Jonathan Kodjia look set to miss out, however.

Jedinak is in light training but is still approximately two weeks away from being available.

Kodjia is on the way back and making progress after recovering from a broken ankle.

But our talismanic striker is still approximately one month away from a full return.

Jack Grealish could face at least a three-month spell on the sidelines after sustaining kidney damage in the weekend encounter with the Hornets.

As mentioned, just watching Burton vs Leicester, Lucas Akins for Burton is causing all sorts of problems, he's a cracking hold up striker and scored with a good finish. Currently 2-0 Burton.

    Another reason for confidence..

Hull City have one of the best opening day records of any current Championship side.

The Tigers have won six and lost four of their last 10 opening league fixtures.
That works out at 18 points in total, the second most of any Championship side.

Sheffield Wednesday have the best record with 20 points from their last ten opening fixtures.

Hull’s opponents on Saturday, Aston Villa, have won five, drawn one and lost four of their last ten opening games, giving them a total of 16 points.

I always watch football if there's any on. It's either this or Sheriff Tiraspol vs Qarabag FK in the Champion's League.
