Robbie Mc's wins well. He said he would take a lot of beating too when interviewed just before the off. Wonder will someone look to buy him now? Oddy, he bought that winner from Dermot Weld and bought him only recently. Can we count that as a DK win
Looking at the results at Goodwood today and it sounds like being in a ****e meeting listening to folk talk insane bollox has at least saved me a few quid. Seeing Breton Rock winning would make me question whether the ground was really good. Last time I saw him win it was just on the right side of race able at Newmarket. Good shout from the Don on De Sousa day out at the seaside. My only bet is in the lucky last at Galway - Beau Satchel. 5 previous runs at this festival with 3 wins and 2 places. Sorry to put the kibosh on it Bob as I see you've already put this one up.
Thanks Ron, can't wait 10 of us going this time and my nephew says he is up for renting bikes and doing a couple of tours, should be cool. Mind you he is 17 and thin as a rail, I suspect I'll struggle to keep up with him
Breton Rock is a mud lover but he has won some on good ground in the past as well Chaninbar. His best form is definitely on Heavy or soft ground though and his trainer stated it's his favoured ground.
Sheila Lavery's Secret Wizard @ 20/1 in the big handicap next in Galway. Course winner and was in fine form down in Killarney, in a wide open race I got to chance the wizard at the price.
Lads did you hear about that actress that got stabbed today? Reese what's her name...Can't think of her 2nd name...Reese?
Second bet of the week, RIVEN LIGHT 9/2. Doesn't seem to finish off his races well but he's maybe just having his stamina stretched. Workable mark here and has shown quality flat form in France before heading to Closutton.
Bridle job for Riven Light. Had he not needed to go through the traffic would have been 20 lengths. Well done beeforsalmon
Hon the riven!just blasted through them like they wernt there!Had a decent clip at that so happy out.Gona side with Ger Lyons horse in the next from decent draw.

Fair enough STH, I didn't watch any of it but will catch up later. I have noted that all races there were slower than standard albeit not by much which may suggest there was a bit more juice advertised.
Happy holidays Oddy. I'm sure everyone will behave themselves in your absence. I'm off to France in a couple of weeks and it can't come soon enough. French bread and wine, marvellous. I'm easily pleased.
After the absolute difficulty of trying to find a winner at goodwood, god job for the straight forward races of Galway
Oooh I remember my tenner each way on him ante post for the Supreme at silly odds last winter ........................ well done mate
A superb ride by Billy Lee. I can't overstate just how good that was. Fancied the horse but I never backed it USA ran a cracker under a very good ride as well.
