Look elsewhere? Yes but not for the reasons you are suggesting. They know that this will cause further ill feeling amongst the fans and be a further opportunity to NOT use the Hull City name - and that is exactly what drives this.
Seriously? So that means that Five Live won't be able to conduct post match interviews after they have broadcast a national commentary on a City match?
I recall listening to a Burnsey commentatory, whilst watching a North Ferriby home game. We were at Swansea. I turned off the rad for a minute, then turned it on again and he was in raptures...I said to the guys I was with, City have scored, Burnsey was giving it large about a goal, only to discover that Swansea had scored...There was no telling from the tone of his voice, which I found very annoying.
The Allam family should be shipped off there sharpish. They'll be able to do what they want and everyone will applaud very quickly and hold the false smiles for the cameras. They will be revered by everyone and then when they piss off Kim Jong Un they will be fed to his dogs.
Just listening to burnsy now! Got a guy playing ronsons guitar promoting the " face the strange " exhibition! Good listening
People on this board seem to have a real issue with telling the difference between someone reporting on a negative and actually enjoying it. Burnsy couldn't have come across more lamentful of our plight last season.
That's the same media you and the CTWD crowd were whining about because they were sucking up to the club and didn't ask the hard questions you demanded and nor did they support you. Now they're being rewritten as martyrs and victims along with the whole of the ER who will suffer at this loss. Brilliant.
So this will mean I don't bother with the BBC at all now, if I was in the area on match days I would tune in! Can I get my license fee back now?
5 live wont be broadcasting the match as talkSPORT have the rights to all EFL games. https://talksport.com/press/talksport-becomes-new-home-english-football-league-170525240502
Ahahahaha! Thus speaks this forums voice of the Trust. Luckily we have you to put the other side of the arguments along with the media savvy and reach of the Trust, plus of course the poor hard done by BBC who will surely carry on exposing the cowardly practices and crimes against humanity inflicted on us by the Allams. Democracy is alive and well after all it seems. Lol.
Complete bollocks. I've not whined about the local media at all. In fact I'm regularly on here defending them.
Actually, they did support us, pretty much everyone at RH (except Gwylim, because he thinks I'm a ****), they just couldn't say so on the BBC. Though obviously that was years ago now, much has happened since and the questioning of our owners daft antics became unavoidable.
I understand your POV, but I cant agree as there was an 'element' of the aforementioned 'schadenfrude' Taking a sense of enjoyment that results were not going our way, which increased the likelihood of relegation which increased the sense of plight...
About f'kin time Imo. Blunderside sent you to sleep with its so called match commentary and the negativity from Burns and Swan aka Waldorf and Statler was embarrassing at times. Doom and gloom merchants by choice, little if any serious post match questions to the manager fans would ask and the constant drift away from events on the pitch won't be missed.
Except they don't employ the broadcasters, the broadcasters pay for the right to broadcast. Your comparing apples and oranges here.
burnsy was due to be at the senior tigers meeting on thursday and the club have told the senior tigers to recind his invite as the club don't want him there.
