'Big meeting' at QPR to discuss signings - West London Sport http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-hierarchy-meet-discuss-possible-signings
I hate to be cynical, but didn't we go through all this at the beginning of last season, after he "found" himself on his trip to Africa? And look how that turned out.......
“No-one’s to blame for that (transfer inactivity). I don’t know why fans look at that. It’s not about who you sign it’s about who we’ve already got,” said Holloway. “We’ll get ahead of the game eventually – Gary has only just come in.” So it will be Gary Penrices problem now? I thought you had targets at the end of the season. Well Ian, the fans look at it as a way of replacing players that are let go (to have good depth in the squad); also as an opportunity to improve on the squad so that we can get higher in the table (or we'll get relegated!!!) and also to win matches and entertain the fans spending their hard earned crust every week working for 50 or 60 hours each week. Now I'm no football manager, but it seems worrying I know this answer and you don't know!
That's not cynical. It's realistic. Change only counts in one place as far as QPR is concerned and that is in their position on the pitch. We will see.
Ollie has a system and he's sticking to it! Remember 'Arry's system? Still, if it means a consistent team that might gel then here's to that... http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/...ousins-new-system-qpr-proving-everybody-wrong
Was on a plane yesterday with the youth (u20?) teams from Burton Albion and Coventry City, off to some tournament in Holland. Tell you what these lads were very well behaved, probably because they all had very intricate hairdos that they obviously spent most of their time looking after. Saw the Aberdeen squad at Schipol, their hair wasn't as good, and they were quite noisy and overexcited. Can anybody tell me how much time the Rs youngsters spend on their hair? We need to know.
