    Newcastle fan in peace <ok>

This story (or similar) is being reported by several North-East journalists. It looks as though Elliot will be coming in as cover for Krul. Is he any good, and do you think he could make the step up to the Premier League?

    Good luck this season :)

    Cheers for the reply <ok>

The transfer has confused Newcastle fans as well. We were promised a left-back and possibly a striker this week and we are now signing a goalkeeper?! I think we are all used to this kind of madness by now.

Pardew splits opinion. He has his good days and bad days. Some fans have taken to him, but a lot still feel he is a puppet for the owner and his (seemingly) constant lying frustrates.

cheers replying pardew made a lot of enermies down here by consistantly playing **** loanees in the team and never taking us back up i remember that year we wnt down saw team win once all year shocking-i think final straw came from charlton fans the 5-2 thrashing by sheffield united at home i remember walking out at half time i was so angry and started a 1 man demo towards pardew by half way through 2nd half their was about 50 odd fans joining in,got it all on video recording all chanting we want pardew out i rem weaver getting chased at the players entrance,in my view pardew was a cheap appointment by the then owner like he did with parkinson.I think what wound fans up we had top names applying like steve clarke and the x forrest boss yet gave it to pardew why?same when appointed parkinson

His appointment sounds like a similar situation to what happened at St. James'. We were linked with the likes of Jol and O'Neill, who were both unlikely but they were the right calibre of manager. We ended up with Pardew and it has been rumoured on several occasions that he is a close friend of the owner outside of football. Some of his actions have got him into the fans' good books but everytime it is looking positive, he ****s it up by making false promises.

    November,

    Pardew is an utter PUNT!

He would always blame other people for his errors, the ref, his players, the Charlton fans!!!! NEVER HIMSELF

His best line was "I think from now on I will just play my best team" after we had just lost about seven/eight in a row :(

At the start of our second season in Champ (we were relegated) he started the season with something like seven forwards and just TWO central defenders!

    Expect some very strange signings!

    PS,
Woodman was by far the worst goalkeeping coach Charlton ever had, but Pards used him as a wingman when out after women.

Yeah I've heard the rumours of him sleeping with players' wives. Our signings haven't been too bad, but he has relied heavily on our extremely successful scouting system that has been in place since Hughton was still at the club.

On Wenger, he is a good manager but I can't stand the man so I'm not sure I would take him even if he were a possibility.
