Not sure if I perhaps should post a separate thread, but what the actual **** is wrong with your newspapers? The Sunday Times has been accused of antisemitism after it published an article in its Irish edition that suggested the BBC presenters Claudia Winkleman and Vanessa Feltz were well paid because they are Jewish. Under the headline “Sorry ladies, equal pay has to be earned”, Myers wrote: “I note that two of the best-paid women presenters in the BBC – Claudia Winkleman and Vanessa Feltz, with whose, no doubt, sterling work I am tragically unacquainted – are Jewish. Good for them. “Jews are not generally noted for their insistence on selling their talent for the lowest possible price, which is the most useful measure there is of inveterate, lost-with-all-hands stupidity. I wonder, who are their agents? If they’re the same ones that negotiated the pay for the women on the lower scales, then maybe the latter have found their true value in the marketplace.” Myers has previously written, in the Irish Independent: “There was no holocaust (or Holocaust, as my computer software insists) and six million Jews were not murdered by the Third Reich. These two statements of mine are irrefutable truths.”
Another Holocaust denier. Honestly, one of the leading players in the UK written press is an abomination to allow this. What was the bloody editor thinking.? Thinly veiled codswallop.
Trump's whole administration is falling apart - his new press secretary of 10 days has "been removed"...
Wish i'd put that bet on him not finishing a full term in office, the odds must be tumbling rapidly by the day...
'A wealthy New York financier, Mr Scaramucci had been in his post for just 10 days. He caused an commotion in Washington last week after describing Mr Priebus as a "paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac", to a journalist on The New Yorker magazine. Referring to the Trump administration's chief strategist, he said: "I'm not Steve Bannon, I'm not trying to suck my own c***."' I can't imagine why he's gone. Seems perfectly OK to me.
Can't wait to see how the right wing press try to spin this. After weeks of crucifying Jeremy Corbyn for breaking a manifesto pledge he never made, I wait with bated breath to see them rip the Tories apart, for breaking a manifesto pledge they actually did make, with regards to capping price rises.
What a surprise. Broken manifesto pledge fails to make the front page of the Mail. They go with the queues at EU airports, moaning about the delays, after previously moaning that their security checks weren't strong enough. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/ent...eu-airport-queues_uk_59816ec6e4b02b36343eccfe
Queues at Euro airports? That will please my missus. She left for Manchester 2 hours ago with the 2 youngest for 4 weeks Party time over here for me and the eldest. At least after I send him to bed at 10pm every night
I turn up at a hotel In Palma de Playa to teach English to hotel staff. When I walk into the bar I am confronted by some newspapers. English ones. The Fascist rag, the Telegraph and the Sun. Surprisingly, no Mail. There was also Gazzetta del Sport so at least the Italians have got their priorities correct.

Two of our people are on zero hours contracts. They choose to do anything between zero and twenty hours a week. I don't care how many they do. Both of them LOVE it because they can choose exactly when to work and when not to. One of them says he rolls out of bed and decides whether to do an hour or two for us dependet upon his mood. One's a band member who adds to his income as he chooses, the other's retired. Not all zero hours contracts are in any way exploitative or even slightly negative. Some are but ours certainly aren't. There's an article well worth a read here but you do need to read it with your mind set firmly on "open" as it's very balanced so can be taken either way: Vin
Fair comment VIN , I will have a read at some time . Just a guess though , you are a smallish company with scruples , that actually give a toss about your employees ?
