it is fake news. This is the sun twisting Silva's press conference and leaving out all the facts, then this lot twist it further.
    complete rubbish.

The Kieran Gibbs rumours are still circulating with the reports saying he would have to take a large drop in wages.

Is the Kieran Gibbs thing press driven, it seems to me that it might be.

Didn't think that we would, one day, be 'preferred' over a 4 times European Cup winner <cheers> The sceptic in me suggests he rather prefers the Premiership over the Eredivisie and doesn't want to have to go to places like Heracles Almelo and Roda Kerkrade.

Surely more exotic than Huddersfield or Burnley though... :)

Harsh on Huddersfield, a tidy stadium. Burnley and Palace, however....

To be fair BB. the major employer in Almelo is a uranium enrichment plant (despite that it's quite a nice town) and Kerkrade is a rather boring border town - having said that, I had, of course, forgotten about Burnley and Huddersfield. Methinks the real reason is that Ajax already have 8 strikers in their squad and probably would have played him out of position.

Any signing we do make will probably have to settle in quickly but if he does the job great...we do need a striker or two.

Why would he get a work permit and not Paneranda?

I think some of it is based on World rankings - with Venezuela being pretty low down (around 70). So it's much easier to get a work permit for a player from a high-ranking nation

He can play wide or down the middle. I'm hoping a bit like Rashford?

Richarlison bought for Udinese, the riches of the Premier League has financed this.
