Off Topic Well done Hull FC

Did a lot of work with a well known organic food supplier a few years ago. Put a whole new complexion on the notion of organic.

 

Not "we" just silly sods with more money than sense.

 

There's some cool gear on there.

 

Are they good quality British made stuff? British jobs for British workers and all that.

 

They're queuing for two reasons:

1. The popular blocks behind the posts are only available over the counter.
2. If they want to sit in groups then they need to go in person as there's a limit per online order and you can't pick your own seats online.

 

In the early 1970s I worked in a shipping office. A large amount of Wranglers we dealt with were made in Belgium. The consensus was even then the quality wasn't what it was. Don't think many jeans are the quality of Levis and Wranglers in the mid sixties, including Levis and Wranglers.
Best pair I ever bought were Lee .Riders in 1969. Not cheap. You could buy 26 pints then for the cost of a pair of Levis but Lee Riders but Lee Riders cost you 31 pints. And basic rate of income tax was about 40%. These young uns don't know they are born nowadays.

 

Why aren't the popular blocks behind the posts at the KC, Craven Park and most other RL grounds was a matter of interest?

 

It's an off topic thread... which would only be seen as ironic to some muppet who's adamant there is a wedge between the two clubs

 

And that's precisely the point - complaining about somebody going off topic on a thread that is off topic and suggesting the off-off topic posts be taken elsewhere.

And no, 'if it bothers me' I won't put you on ignore etc... and nor will I do any other of this playground circular argument **** you usually respond with.

If I seem heated, I support both clubs. If someone slags City they get it, if someone slags FC they get it... funnily enough I pop at more City fans than FC fans.

One last point, 'off topic' means not relevant to Hull City... that doesn't mean that because a thread is labelled 'off topic' it can just be a free for all, surely.

If I started posting about Hull FC or chocolate finger or any random **** on an RIP thread I don't think it would go down too well would it... so 'precisely the point' actually turns out to be total bollocks does it?

Yeah we had to adjust our jeans ourselves, if you wanted skinny jeans you had to take them in, if you wanted bleached jeans you had to bleach them, if you wanted side slits over your trainers you had to cut them and if you wanted to be uber trendy you wore your Lois inside out!!!!

 

I read the thread because the title was 'well done Hull FC' and I wanted to know what they had done.

I didnt post anything 'off topic' on the thread in the slightest. I posted about Hull FC and rugby. Your anaology falls down there somewhat.

There was nothing even remotely pedantic about anything I posted on the thread.
