    I'm hoping we're waiting until we know how much money we have to spend before we start seriously chasing players. There's a big difference in funds between keeping Virgil and owners to selling Virgil for £70m and Chinese owners who are bankrupting themselves to invest in us.

    Given how full our squad is, if we buy a £10m player, we will be stuck with him when we might suddenly have the money to buy £30m+ players.

    That's the reasoning i'm going with anyway.

    I expect we aren't buying players, like a few other clubs as the fees are ****ing ridiculous at the moment. Expect a bit more transfer speculation leading up to the end of the window.
