He would be a good option to sit in front of the back 4. Maybe Klopp thinks if we get VVD we do not need to rely on a sitting defensive midfielder as much
Think it's hilarious that president of Spanish league is saying they'll lodge a complaint is psg sign Barca because they'll break ffp. 1) what's it to do with them? Nothing to do with head of Spanish league, it's a club matter between two clubs and a player with a contract that specifies a release clause. 2) if a release clause that high is going to automatically make teams fail ffp then surely they should be banned from going into contracts as they are completely pointless? 3) if psg break ffp then no complaint needs to be made, UEFA will sort it out like they've done in the past (well they should and have punished psg in past so). Theyre obviously getting worried about the impact of losing such a marketable figure for their league that they want to get involved in something that has nothing to do with them
Dont think would suit out midfield. Klopp wants energy in the middle and matic although a very good player isn't someone that's going to get around the pitch much and at his age that wont improve.
Just don't know what the fuss is. Every time we've played them he's been crap. I mean. when we won at The Bridge last season, Hendo (!) had him in his pocket
Nobody forces the buying club to pay the release clause. Nor do players only leave for said release clause, if the selling club agrees they could leave for less
The other point on la liga whine is how do they know PSG will break the FFP rules? Psg could sell 4 players and offset for all barca or ka liga know.
Too expensive for what he is and how old he is now. Also has lost some of his effectiveness, made to look better last season by having Kante next to him.
Why hasn't it got anything to do with your point? You're saying release clauses should be banned if they AUTOMATICALLY make clubs fail ffp. How do they AUTOMATICALLY make clubs fail ffp exactly?
Exactly. Clubs out the release clauses to a level they don't think anyone will pay and if they do they're laughing about it (I realise it's the FA equivalent in Spain that set the amounts)
I'm guessing you were a lazy batard and didn't read the whole post, or missed the sarcasm in it? The Spanish President was saying how PSG will break FFP if they pay the release clause. If that's the case, why would any player agree to a release clause that high in future because if what he's saying is right (and obviously it isn't I'm just taking the piss) then they are pointless because no one is ever going to meet them,
Well anyway couldn't PSG just say they're signing Neymar on a 195 year contract so for FFP his transfer fee only appears on the books as worth £1m/year
