I searched all over town BT. Burton's came up trumps for me.

Mate, have you ever looked in Primark? Tat.

Debenhams have Levi's for £80 a pop and not in my size...

First pair of zip jeans I've bought in years.

    In fact make that ever.

Lovely fit and I'm an open minded sort of bloke so thought what the hell?

    It's how I roll.

I think you're Barking up the wrong tree.
In the 60s City where the big fish/crowd pullers in this City.
We then endured ( apart from a few years in the 80s ) nearly three n a half decades of extreme mediocrity.
This allowed the youngsters to drift off the the Big glory clubs.
The RL was only successful for 5 or 6 years before it went downhill big time.
The younger fans that drifted off to the big clubs have since had their own families and have imposed their glory hunting ways on their young sprogs.
How can it pain you to see FC and KR shirts in their own City when you see Leeds Utd, Man Utd and Liverpool shirts being worn.
    That's the big problem .

It is nothing of the sort. Both our RL clubs play in a tiny sport with about a dozen other clubs of similar size. Over the 100 plus years they have been competing, between them, they have been serious under achievers when compared with similiar sized clubs like Wigan and St Helens. Haven't Sheffield Eagles who were not formed until the 80's won more times at Wembley then both our clubs put together ? The 'nilled' at Wembley and getting beat by record scores happened to the Hull clubs, part of the under achievement, yet FC especially are built up locally to be a giant of the game, a world power........and so on. And Hull City are amongst the biggest under achievers in English football, I know and admit that.
The term 'rugby town' was manufactured by the local media as a dig at football. City always had bigger gates then the rugby, except during a brief spell in the early 80's when we at the bottom of the FL ladder and they were winning silverware, which backs up my earlier theory that a successful RL ( and I mean FC, not rovers) does us no favours and vice versa. Funny how Hull was never referred to as a 'football city' when we were getting gates of 30,000 plus during Carters era and averaging twice as many as both the RL clubs put together during most of the Cliff Britton and Terry Neill era's.
Old ground this but, the animosity set in during that time when FC attempted to re-brand themselves as 'Hull's premier sports club' The local media loved it and encouraged the football v rugby league argument at very opportunity. So it continues today.
FC have done well in reaching a Wembley Final again and good luck to them. It's the OTT hysterics that will be all over them because of it that I cannot stand.
Because if City could reach a Wembley Final by winning four games on the trot ( or what ever number it is) we would have been there countless times.
The RL v football is not a fair argument, the two sports are a million miles apart, yet in Hull and possibly only in Hull they are treated as though they are equals. The money we are supposed to pay for one player could buy every player at every RL club and you'd still have change. They are light years apart.
    And you fall for it.

They don't make them like they used to, any of them. Wrangler were my choice brand and I remember when you had to wash them 3 or 4 times before you could wear them. Now the cut is all wrong the material too thin and the last pair i picked up to look at were made in Bangladesh.

Taking on board the above, the stuff in Primark may be tat but it is priced accordingly. The big brands are making tat and selling it as a premium product and price.

I admit I got a pair of Levi's from Sport Direct (I know) they were a quick impulse buy but for £18 you can't say no. Iv'e seen toilet paper thicker than the stuff they were made of, I gave them away.
