    Greetings from Cyprus.
I glanced over onto that thread and had 32 pages of unread stuff. CBA reading it now as I've been on the Keo a lot today.
Can someone do a 20 word summary?
And more importantly cos it matters deeply to me, honest, did I get lots of mentions?

There's a video going round of celtic fans attacking a shop in sunderland where EDL leader Tommy Robinson was or had been...dressed in a Rangers top...what was he doing there that wouldn't spark trouble?

Anyway, after hurling a flare into the shop and smashing the windows, one Celtic 'fan' ended up stretched out on the pavement with a serious head wound after being pasted by a Sunderland lad.

As they say on these forums, that didn't end well.

Taggate was a disgraceful and immature day of constant tagging of Sunderland threads with very silly tags. It got a bit out of hand and personal - someone's sister got mentioned and it all got a bit sour from there. I can't really remember but I think it was a response to a constant disrupting of threads with crap gifs etc.

It was all apologised for and sorted out with super mods. A certain sunderland mod had a bit of a hissy fit because super mods refused to remove the mod status of the 2 Newcastle mods who took part. To be fair it was his sister who got mentioned. I know I was responsible, maybe ACS, maybe one or two others. Looking back now it was all a bit silly and juvenile. I wouldn't change a thing

Regret what you don't do, not what you do. I apply the same logic to sexual conquests.

In all seriousness it was a bit poor form - hence apologies were issued, if not accepted. The only thing that does sit a bit uneasy is one of the main threads of the tags was regarding incest. This seemed to cause a lot condemnation as unacceptable humour. Strangely enough the complaints came posters who use this very same topic themselves at times...

The only poor thing is it did sour relations between the boards and certain good Mackem posters didn't post as much here after that.

    Ah....thanks, I didn't have a clue...<ok>

Blubbering Bri came out with some half baked accusation that I was involved and subsequently quit being a mod and the board over it.
Methinks he needs to cut down on the narcotics.

<laugh> Nobody quit the board or being a mod. I think that was what upset the Sunderland lad and led him to request removal by the super mods. Obviously being told that wouldn't happen did not lighten his mood. To be honest I can't remember what his username was. It was only a day FFS - get over it. Old news. To be honest my recollection of events is hazy. It was mainly my fault though.

I did eventually quit being a mod though some time later. Mainly because I think they do **** all. <whistle>
