It is completely different. We are taking national titles here not European tournaments arranged to maximise revenue and make sure the usual clubs are in it.

I don't understand how the team winning the Grand Final gets more recognition then the winners but it doesn't really bother me.

It's good to know Hull City Association Tigers FC have played their part in that.
In the olden days many of us finer vintage supporters didn't think we would ever get there.

Now your having a laugh. Comparing RL to football and especially the Premier League is like comparing school yard rounders to Test Match Cricket.

 

And Hull City AFC are the only Hull club to play there and not get 'nilled'.
A fact you will not hear mentioned very often.

I don't get stressed out by minority sports but some people in Hull seem to attach a lot of importance to them.

Leaving aside the big fish in a little pond question, there will have been more appearances by Manchester teams in at n the last 10 years. Leeds Rhinos had as many appearances as FC and Rovers in the previous 10 years since the new Wembley re-opened though they will be overtaken in August.
