That Isn't the point. People from Hull at FC, and Rovers, stand, jump up and down and make some noise without fellow fans gutting and telling them to sit down and shut up. Yet getthem at City and with a vrry few exceptions it is different.

We suffer more from the fact that the majority of football fans here support glory clubs.

Our last semi final was at Old Trafford and The KCOM Stadium.

Outstanding 2nd half performance from Hull.
Amazing to see the connection between the players and the supporters.
Hull born lads wearing the jersey with pride.
Unlike City where a local lad would rather play reserve football at Stoke or we loan players who just want game time.
I love City but there no connection between club and supporters.

To be fair tgecequivalents are the Challenge Cup and FA Cup. RL doesn't have an equivalent of the League Cup.

How many FC players are Hull lads? The reason for the lack of connection between club and supporters is well known.

Shaul, Taylor, Houghton, Washbrook, Bowden from todays side. All Hull coaching staff too which would help educate players on what it means to the fans to represent the club. Fash, Turgut, Downs, Litten, Hadley all played this year who are local to and will step up more over the next couple of years

    Cheers.

Though RL operates in a smaller world than football and I imagine most clubs have a good smattering of locals.

    He didn't mention Green.

I remember when Hull beat Rovers at Wembley someone I worked with had a fair sized wager purely on the basis Rogers had more local lads in the team.

It's no different to finishing 4th in the PL and winning the champions league the following year.

In terms of cities being represented at Wembley in team sports, I wouldn't be surprised if Hull is second behind London with the amount of times we, FC and KR have been in recent years.
