    Apparently the fee is around 40 million Euros for his services. Mike Ashley has been reported to have decided to use the 40 million to buy shares in Greggs. He is said to be delighted with the deal and hopes to use them as a future sponsor for the front of the Newcastle Kit.

    I know! It's beyond belief.

    There are rumours that we aren't willing to up our bid for Cissokho by £1m, yet we are now pointlessly buying a goalkeeper?
