Yeah I thought Leeds laid down for them too, probably fc's turn to win, and the ref was very generous in not seeing the forward passes.

 

Leeds where battered by Hulls forwards and it told in the 2nd half.
If the score had been the other way round you'd be saying differently because you're very bitter and resentful.

You might have noticed that I'm not a rl fan. But from the bits I saw on the telly it looked as though Hull were playing a team of schoolboys so you may well be correct in your observations.
And I wouldn't have watched any of it if it wasn't raining at The Oval.

 

Those so called schoolboys beat the same Hull team 10 v 7 2 weeks ago.
Explain that one ??

 

I've noticed in recent years that RL goalkicking has improved immeasurably. It's as though they suddenly realised the extra 2 points were worth having after all. Or did it coincide with lots of southern hemisphere players coming in?

 

Best bits were the 30 mins around halftime. Cracking stuff.

 

We'll deserved victory with the scoreline a pretty fair reflection.

I don't honestly know.
I do know that a Wembley appearance for either of the Hull RL clubs is good for the local coach operators, mini bus hire, Hull Trains, pubs, their club shops, and supporters and it does promote the city of Hull, that cannot be disputed.
But it is not good for Hull City.
In the same way our brief time in the big time was not good for them.
Sad but true.

One of our clubs needs to win the Super League for there to be a proper RL renaissance in Hull.

 

Saw a bit of it. Surprised to see there are people in Hull who stand up, jump about and make a bit of noise at sporting games without others telling them to sit down and shut up..Hope we don't see that sort of behaviour creeping in at the KC. Where will it all end?

 

Win the Super League by finishing top like Castleford did who won by a country mile? Or by winning the Grand Final after finishing way behind them?

 

Yes, just as FC are doing well our owners continue to piss fans and everyone else off. Stand by for an orgy of rugby mania pushing City even further into the background on RH and in the HDM. Even in the PL they were giving them more prominence so they won't need any excuse with us in the Championship. Just wait untilmthe return of The Biggest Derby In The Universe And Everywhere Else. Though it has yet to sell out at the KC.

 

Football supporters are seen as Hooligans, Rugby fan are seen as supporters.
