Well with season one week away I have to admit I'm going into it with an air of trepidation. Last season Monk had us finishing 7th because, in my opinion, we ran out of steam due to a having a small squad without enough quality in it. I did think though it was a good base for this season and that with 2-3 quality additions (on top of retaining Bartley) we would at least make the playoffs. Now we have a number of unknown & unproven signings, an unknown coach and a whole new set up with a DOF. I can't believe we have known Taylor has been going since January and still with a few days to go we haven't bought a specialist left back. So whilst I admire all the optimists on here, the realist in me thinks it has the same feel as the last time we brought in loads of foreign signings and convinced ourselves we uncovered gems, though I have to admit I have more faith in our scouting this time around. Whatever, I can't wait for the football to be back.

 

Well you have been having a jolly time fellow fans.i was a bit worried work would make me late for the game.but i got it done and now looking forward to the afternoons friendly.

 

I hope to be able to calm your fears later today.if three of the additions prove good and we sign two more defenders then im happy.let go of bartley we cant afford his prem wages.

 

Don’t panic. We still have nearly all last seasons squad and have made some quality signings. Coach only worry for me or rather his inexperience of our league

If a DOF was any good at selecting the right players for the right jobs at the right time for the right price he would be your manager

 

Er no. DOF finds the right players he does not coach them or decide how they combine on the pitch

How's the relegation coming along? Failed in any more pre season games?

Yes m8 and have shown my loyalty to my club with plenty of Leeds lads,should I go and see how many wall players you've not chosen.
