Iwas just going to post that one. So instead I'll post this one of someone I would liked to have seen liveappearing In this little club.
Much as I like most of the ones you've posted, some very much so, the connection to change in some of them is alluding me. At least this one has a connection. It is about change cascading from above
Ask away & I'll try to explain. If it's the clips relating to "time" that may help ! It does seem to change attitudes, perceptions etc - mostly for the good (hopefully).
I'd better put Rock Around The Clock in that is about time. Concrete and Clay? Once went to see Unit Four Plus two at a dance expecting to spend the night in the bar but they put on one of the best live shows I've seen far better than that of many big name bands I've seen.
Another who has beat me to it. Needless to say Sam Cooke's version is brilliant, as is everything he did, but Otis did a fair cover of it. Two of the best vocalists of all time.
I think it's generally flexible within reason on these. It's just an opportunity to hear records you haven't heard before, if at all.
Quite agree. Gives these young uns a chance to hear music from a time when everything was better... Just that, and just this time, the connections between the songs and the thread title are tenuous to say the least. So, a double connection on this one, time, and seasons, which change.
